Early 2012 ushered in seven new requirements for health insurance provided by employers of Connecticut residents that supporters say would save lives and money in the long run.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," said State Senator Joseph Crisco, Jr., D-Woodbridge, Vice Chairman of the State legislature's insurance and Real Estate Committee, referring to the new requirements for breast MRI, colonoscopies and prostate cancer screening and treatment.

Other new requirements with regard to coverage for ostomy supplies, drugs ill, clinical trial costs and bone marrow tests.

Opponents predicted the new law will have a negative effect, however, raise the costs to employers providing health insurance and ended up making the country less friendly business.

"The fact that we have seven new or expanded mandates quite scary," says Eric George, the Association Council of Connecticut business and industry association, adding that he expects some employers would drop coverage. "Small entrepreneurs are already stretched as far as they can go."

It is a question that is worth careful consideration, bearing in mind that the price of cyber attacks are increasing at an alarming rate.

The two annual cost of Cyber Crime a study, released in August by the Ponemon Institute, reported that the median annual cost of detection and recovery from cyber crime per company is $ 5.9 million – a rise 56% of the average number of 2010. The cost of cyber crime ranged from $ 1.5 million to $ 36.5 million per company.

More and more insurance companies that offer cyber protection in case of violations and other data to malicious attacks. But so far, they have some difficulty in making their case. Survey shows companies have yet to embrace the policy, the cost can be staggering.

Annual Security–said yes to the question: "does your organization have an insurance policy that protects from theft or misuse of the electronic data, consumer records, etc.?"

In addition, 17% said that their company has filed a claim, and 13% said they had collected on those claims. (PwC did not ask why the remaining 4% are not collected, but said the chances of them rejected.)

Mayor Brian Daughney, however, added an amendment to the original item because he didn't like to the effects of the findings set out in the final environmental impact statement in connection with the St. Paul's main building and Ellis Hall.

Daughney's amendments are as follows: "provided, however, without a determination by the village to get a valuation or insurance on the main building or Ellis Hall at St. Paul's school shall be deemed or construed to alter, change or modify the findings set forth in the final environmental impact statement was issued in February 2011."

"I don't know," replied Daughney. "I do not want this action tonight to effect Whether or not, had the building value."

VOLATILE day on the world market in the middle of another crisis-Italy Italy bond yields shot up to 7.502% yesterday – that is the rate at which Portugal and Ireland were forced to seek bailouts when loans cost there and here that achieve the same level. It has a high fear that Europe's debt crisis is spreading and last night's European stocks closed sharply lower.

MS. Cooper said that Italy is too big to fail and too big to bail, pointing out that it has the third largest debt market in the world. He said that even IMF funding for State it would be difficult to get the United States is a key contributor to the Fund and it just did not want to allot of money.

He said the issue of Italy's big-country has allowed getting very uncompetitive, meanwhile also in desperate need of structural reform. Italy politicians ignore the problem for years and shows that structural reform takes decades to come to fruition. Describing the situation as '' extremely frightening '', analysts say that the market has suffered a complete collapse in confidence in political class to sort out the issue of the euro zone.

***
Morning business news-Christies sold two works of art for national asset management agency in New York overnight. A piece of Andy Warhol raised $ 782,500, and Robert Motherwell were sold for $ 74,500. It is believed the art belongs to the tax consultant and developer Derek Quinlan.

The poorest of the poor is a concern for the State, and similarly with the United States. The impact of the global recession has resulted in the restoration of the two-tier appeal to Americans. The richest maintain their spending habits and lifestyle while a record number of Americans living in poverty. This scenario is not a flattering another American.

Paint a portrait of America Data stark's rich and poor at a time when unemployment continue to be stubborn. The number of poor Americans has reached a record 49 million in 2010, or 16 percent, according to new census data released last week. This shows a high level of poverty for older people, Asians and Hispanics. Poverty levels increased for whites, Asians and adults of working age but fell for black people and children. Interestingly, poverty to Asia increased from 12.1 per cent below the official sizes for 16.7 per cent. Among non-Hispanic white, up from 10 percent to 11.1 percent. For the first time, the level of poverty levels among Hispanic eclipsed blacks, with a 17.5 per cent to 25.4 per cent.

New Formula describes the overall U.S. poverty level of 16 percent, versus the 15.1 per cent, with the official annual income $ 24,343 for family of four, compared to $ 22,113 under official size. New figures released by the Census Bureau poverty in contrast to the official data, was released in September that put the number of poor Americans in 28.7 million. Unlike the Census Bureau's official poverty measure, which focused on the budget for food and money wages of the poor, the new data include government benefits such as food stamps, household spending, and regional differences in living costs. The silver lining is that the poverty rate for children declined, from 22 percent to 18.2 percent. The new Formula also shows poverty levels increased for whites, Asians and adults of working age but fell for black people and children. For the first time, the level of poverty levels among Hispanic eclipsed blacks, with a 17.5 per cent to 25.4 per cent.

This income gap growing naturally worry policymakers are concerned about the effect on aggregate demand if wages continue to stagnate. Ironically, poverty figures are newly released just in time to show the success of many programs is being considered for budget cuts and the supervision by the the Super.

The latest census figures underscore the challenges facing us Federal and State Governments as they seek to reduce the deficit. These findings also highlighted the challenges facing Republicans and Democrats in Congress "super Special Committee" to work on ways to cut at least $ 1.2 trillion from the federal budget over the past 10 years. November 11 is the deadline to resolve the matter to the Committee's super. New Data has opened a fresh debate over social security, Medicare and other programs to help the poor. The problem is that, if the plan cuts in unemployment remain applicable and stubborn, poor and middle class life can be difficult. This is a time when Democrats and Republicans have proposed hundreds of billions of dollars in cuts to Medicare, despite intensive lobbying against a reduction by groups that are interested in.

Italy's Senate has approved new austerity measures, the first step to reduce the country's financial crisis and pave the way for expected the resignation of Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

The upper House of Parliament approved Italy's desperate financial reform Friday, with the Board of Deputies was expected to give a low approval on Saturday. When the final approval of plan of retrenchment occurs, Mr Berlusconi has said he will resign as leader of the country.

That is likely to lead to the formation of a new Government led by former Eu competition Commissioner Mario Monti. The President of Italy Giorgio Napolitano earlier this week named Monti a senator for life, and Senators applauded him at the Hall Friday.

In Greece, Lucas Papademos was sworn in Friday as interim Prime Minister, head of a coalition Government which is hoping to save the country from a crisis in finance. His new Cabinet including the Minister of the Greek artist Evangelos Venizelos, a key figure of the Government out of the Socialist George he was Prime Minister.

United States and European stock markets leapt Tuesday as investors welcomed news of Italy and Greece.

The Transitional Government of Greeck will apply the budget cuts are very popular European leaders needed to secure the next installment of the rescue package that would make Greece from bankrupt in weeks.

Mr Papademos said the coalition Government would "do the best I can" to solve the country's economic woes. New leader says he expects to be successful, if the United States.

Italy has the third largest economy in the euro zone, but economic growth is stagnant and the country has put together a staggering $ 1.6 billion in public debt. Loan costs topped 7 percent this week, a threshold that forces Greece, Ireland, and Portugal in search of international bailouts. But with Italy MPs in line to adopt austerity plan, interest has now retreated under the sign of 7 percent.

The austerity measures including Italy sales by $ 20 billion worth of Government property, opening closed professions and increasing the State pension age from 65 to 67 by 2026.
